Overview
BetterMind Labs summer programs are online, mentor-guided AI and machine learning programs for high school students in Grades 9-12, many of whom arrive with no programming experience. In four weeks, a student learns how AI works in live instructor-led sessions, then applies it to a real-world problem in a field they care about, such as healthcare, finance, or business, with an industry mentor. Students who don't code build with visual and low-code tools; students who do work in Python. Everyone finishes with a portfolio project, a mentor letter of recommendation, and a Certificate of Internship.

Projects
Every student ships a working AI project by the end of the four weeks. First-time coders start with visual and low-code tools; experienced students work in Python with Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, APIs, and GitHub. These are real projects from past cohorts.

Each mentor has five or more years of professional experience and is assigned by the program team to match the student's interests and goals.
